How has the IT industry changed since you started GiaSpace, and how have you adapted?
When we started the IT industry was not dealing with Cyber-attacks and BYOD to the degree we see today. Viruses would slow down systems but not ransom the end user. Companies were not using as much technology as they do today, so the support model was less complex as well. Cloud services and AI were not a household word in the beginning, so we were not competing with such large players.
Over the years we saw the distributors like Amazon, Dell, Microsoft and others start to market direct to our clients which at the time we thought was going to put us out of business, but over time we built up our service offerings and became more business focused than a commodity.
